HOW WE PAY YOU
The Revenue Sharing Model: Our new payment system is based on a revenue sharing model, where the money earned from student subscriptions is distributed among course creators. But instead of a simple division based on enrollment numbers, we've introduced a more nuanced approach that rewards the quality and engagement of your courses.
Engagement Time Score
We track how much time students actually spend in your course. This isn't just about clicking on your course; it's about how long they stay engaged with your content. The more time students spend with your course, the higher your engagement time score.
Course Rating Score
Students can rate your course after completion. These ratings reflect their satisfaction and the value they perceive from your course. High ratings from students boost your course rating score, indicating that students find your course valuable and enjoyable.
Completion Rate Score
​This measures how many students who start your course actually complete it. A high completion rate suggests that your course effectively retains student interest and provides value, contributing to a higher completion rate score.
Every month, we calculate the total revenue generated from subscriptions.
We then calculate the total score for each course, combining the engagement time score, course rating score, and completion rate score.
Your share of the revenue is determined by your course's proportion of the total score across all courses.
Imagine the total subscription revenue for a month is $100,000.
Your course has a strong engagement time score, high ratings, and a good completion rate, contributing to a total score that is 5% of the overall score for all courses on the platform.
Your revenue for that month would be 5% of $100,000, which is $5,000.
This model is designed to fairly compensate you not just for attracting students to your course, but for creating content that truly engages and benefits them. It's about recognizing and rewarding the effort you put into making your course both informative and engaging.
